Basically a scene depicting the Battle of Port Aleph that's actually taking place up on the crust of the planet's atmosphere - and a completely fictitious event that's been going on in NationStates recently - well the region of NationStates I'm in. In the battle the Cosmonautical Cooperation of the Continents of PEEL (PEEL is the name of the region, and yes the initials do spell CCCP - I could not resist it) joined forces with their long time foes, the murderous Reformed Urallian Empire, to defeat a common enemy - an alien mothership known as the Starfartyg (or the Starchild) The allied forces were ultimately successful in their attempts to prevent the Starfartyg from destroying the Xanforian city of Port Aleph but not without suffering heavy losses, like the Urallian starship "Ardentov", whose death throes, among those of others, appear here. Italics denote airy-fairyness If the ship bares a resemblance to a Hammerhead cruiser from Knights of the Old Republic then, well, yes it does. I designed this particular ship a while back and included various elements of the Hammerhead to serve as a homage *cough*rip-off*cough*. I decided to keep the continuity going. Out of the three pics I've submitted today I'm asking for critiques for this one - the other two Futurama pics are either a) just having fun or b) just pretentious twaddle but this one I both really like and really think I could improve on, so I'm very interested in any suggestions people have. A brilliant piece mate, I can't really think of anything you can improve on, perhaps a few more highlights on the cloud and smoke? lol, I'm totally useless aren't I?
